Young members of the "Tea House" chess club participated in the Georgian championship

On November 26-December 2, 2024, the Bukhuti Gurgenidze Cup was held in Tbilisi among 8-10-12-year-olds under the organization of the Tbilisi Chess Federation. "Tea House" team was represented by 6 people in the competition. Amar Nasibov, Timur Kalayev and Rafael Bayramov competed in the 10-year-old group, and Ali Aliyev, Onur Askerov, Ayhan Askerov competed in the 12-year-old group.
Ayhan Askerov, who competed in the 12-year-old group of 23 people, showed the best result in the team. Ayhan scored 4 out of 7 possible points and finished the tournament in the top ten, in 8th place.
