On April 27, 2025, the second day of the "Marneuli Open 2025" chess tournament, organized by the "Development and Education Center" and supported by "SOCAR", took place at the Tea House. Chess players over the age of 16 competed in the tournament. In the competition, in which 9 chess players competed, Bakhtiyar Mammadov was awarded 1st place with 6 points, Jahandar Bayramov 2nd place with 5.5 points, and Abdullah Mammadov 3rd place with 5.5 points.
At the end of the tournament, the winner of the 1st place was awarded a cash prize, a cup and a medal, and the winners of the 2nd and 3rd places were awarded certificates and medals.
